Two informative footpaths in English :
"Medieval Path" (4 km) in red on the map, departure Place des Piliers (with the two towers).
"Tales ans Legends Path" (2,5 km) in green on the map, departure House of Tourism (behind the church).
Access to these paths are available everyday. Maps are available and free on request at the House of Tourisme.
12 open books are displaying details in English on the history and legends of Champtoceaux on a picturesque walk with a remarkable panorama of the Loire Valley :

Hikes
- Loire and History, in yellow color code, 9 km long, departure House of Tourisme. The circuit is available in the book "Les Mauges en Marche" for sale in the House of Tourisme (32 circuits, 10 €).
- Itinerary of the great hike (Grande Randonnée : GR), called GR 3, is in red and white color code. The hike goes along the Loire from its source to the estuary and pass through Champtoceaux.
- Rêves de Loire circuit, marked out with yellow signs pass through Champtoceaux. This 65 km long circuit connect 8 towns along the Loire.

Mountain bike itinerary
- 33 km long mountain bike route on the towns of La Varenne and Champtoceaux : color code : 2 yellow circles and a triangle with number 1.
